The Lady of the Year

Each year brings about new results and happenings. Lady Gaga, a singer and songwriter, turned out to have a very lucrative 2008. She received a good number of nominations and awards apart from having one great album “The Fame” under her belt. She is said to be working on another album with Michael Bolton and Neyo.

Lady GaGa shows her versatility at being able to belt out different kinds of songs. She does not only stick to the usual song from the pop genre. But she also comes up with her own Christmas songs. In fact she produced a great holiday song entitled “Christmas Tree”.

This singer is just made of sheer brilliance. She can put together a great quirky outfit and yet belt out a song with mellow and even tones. But her brilliance is not the only thing that makes her successful. She is extremely hard working. She puts in a lot of time to finish one song. It is not enough that she comes up with a song. She needs to feel the song. When it comes to her productions, a lot of effort can be seen in the costumes and choreography.

Because of the dedication she puts in all that she does, everything she produces is excellent. She can learn to play the piano by ear. She can compose her own lyrics. She can perform in clubs with great ease. And she can even write songs for other artists and make it a hit. She is so at ease with her talent and ability that she can perform just about anywhere she is.

Last year, Lady GaGa signed in with Akon’s Kon Live. Her first single entitled “Just Dance” first played the airwaves last May and sat at the top 3rd spot. “The Fame”, her debut album came out last October and was well accepted by the music industry. Her album which has songs from the electronic, pop, rock and hip hop genres make people sit up and listen to her music.

Many people comment on her clothes and fashion style as it is rather different. But she just takes their comments into stride. She just feels like wearing anything that is trendy and continues experimenting on different outfits. Her zest for life is seen in her innovative ways. And this will definitely make her a success.

Lady Gaga joins the purple people

No, that’s not the long-lost love child of Joey Ramone and Barney the Dinosaur; it’s just the always-fashionable Lady GaGa, doing what she does best—grabbing attention by any means necessary.

The always-fashionable “Poker Face” chanteuse was sporting new purple locks as she returned to her hotel after filming a segment for the BBC’s Jonathan Ross show in London. The new ‘do is quite the departure from Ms. GaGa’s usual platinum-blonde locks. But then, this is one songbird who seems determined to raise eyebrows wherever she goes.

And she appears to be committed to the new look, too; she even color-coordinated her hair with a purple teacup. Like we said, the woman is fashionable.

Will we be be seeing GaGa aficionadas such as Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie rocking the purple look in days to come? Let’s all hope so.

Lady Gaga goes tea potty after losing cup

Pop diva Lady Gaga threw a temper tantrum — after losing her favourite TEACUP.

The raunchy Poker Face singer, 23 — who takes the floral cup everywhere — accidentally left it with its saucer at a top Central London restaurant.

She twigged back at her five-star hotel and sent a black cab to the Metropolitan Hotel to fetch them.

The driver charged £35 for Friday’s return trip to Blakes Hotel, in Kensington, West London.

Mystery surrounds why Lady Gaga, who performed at February’s Brit Awards dressed as a teacup, is fixated with the crockery.

She sipped ginger tea from the cup during Thursday’s filming of Friday Night with Jonathan Ross.

Ross welcomed the American — real name Stefani Germanotta — to the sofa saying: “You’ve brought your tea out in your beautiful teacup.”

But just hours later she left it at the restaurant.

A source said: “She kicked up a stink and demanded someone get her cup and saucer back.

“She wouldn’t drink out of anything else. It just looked like any other cup and saucer to me and said ‘Made in China’ on the bottom. It seemed a lot of fuss over nothing.”

A spokesman for Lady GaGa said: “Lady GaGa does not want to reveal anything about the teacup itself, but drinking ginger tea is very good for singers.”

Lady GaGa insists she’ll always stay single — because she’s too selfish for love. The Poker Face singer, real name Stefani Germanotta, says she is so focused on her career she could never put a boyfriend first.

“My personal life just doesn’t fulfill me the same way that it fulfills other people,” she said. “I’m quite bossy. I’m quite a good girlfriend.

“I like to cook and I’m very sweet and I like to take care of people but the truth is that when I wake up in the morning for the rest of my life the first thing I think about will never be another person.”

Lady Gaga just can’t get enough of London can she?! After last night’s expedition to Bungalow 8, we’d heard that the star had gone on to Paris, but GaGa was back in the Capital again this afternoon shopping in New Bond Street.

We spotted the singer a short time ago braving the wet weather in a dress with over-sized shoulder pads shopping at D&G. She may not dress sensibly for the weather, but at least she managed to buy yet more clothes, and we guess that’s all that’s important, isn’t it?

Major drama, make that Drama, on the set of Lady GaGa’s new video shoot Monday.

It all unfolded on location at a Bel-Air estate as she made out with male triplets appearing in the new vid. That was in the script. What wasn’t in the script was her new boyfriend walking in and flipping out, RadarOnline.com learned.

The triplets, from the Sweedish band “Snake of Eden” were picked by GaGa to get physical and make out with her. Very entertaining for all -- except Mr. GaGa who arrived late to the shoot and got angry, very, very angry!

“He started yelling at her,” a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com exclusively. Not satisfied with screaming at her on the set he followed her into a makeup room and kept berating her.

Then he turned his anger on the triplets and said: “You guys are a bunch of fags. Are you happy now? Did you get what you want?”

It could just be us, or the heat of the moment, but seems like Mr. Homophobe should expect outrageous behavior if he’s going to date Lady GaGa.

Lady Gaga has revealed that her international superhit ‘Just Dance’ took just 10 minutes to write.

Speaking about her surprise at the songs success the singer told Heat: “It’s been unbelievable the way the song has crossed over into the mainstream. It took ten minutes to write! I think it’s because it’s a happy record. Maybe the record will be appreciated more now there are lots of people who are going through rough times, losing jobs and homes.”

So everyone should just dance to be the credit crunch then!

Lady Gaga admits having taxi sex!

The 23 year old sex mad singer Lady GaGa has admitted that she once had sex in the back of a New York taxi.

The 'Just Dance' singer told Fab that the back of a yellow cab is the craziest place she has ever had sex.

She said: "[It was] in the back of a taxi in New York. It was fun. I would do it again, f**k ya. It's always fun to do things that are sneaky. Sneaky in sex is good."

Speaking about her favourite early live experience, she added: "I was 19 and I was playing a show where I was supposed to debut all this new material.

"When I sat down to play I couldn't get everyone to stop talking so I took off all my clothes. Works every time."

Earlier this month, Lady GaGa claimed that she could give herself an orgasm just by using the power of thought.
